The LandPlan Group South was hired by the City of Sumter, SC to complete a conceptual Master Plan for the Opera House parking lot. The City is currently revitalizing their parking areas and looking to create a more pedestrian friendly and safe space downtown. The conceptual Master Plan created connections for pedestrians to access the City’s existing sidewalk system. Also, as part of the project, we created a new entrance Plaza for the Opera House as well as outdoor spaces for small events and festivals.
