This park will be located at the corner of Forest Drive and Beltline Blvd, previously known location for Richland Fashion Mall. We appreciate all of the feedback from residence and council. Is there any consideration for construction of a “stand-alone” building to include multi use space for indoor activities? Examples: room for family game table games, or for indoor senior activities. The photos displayed at a “meet and greet” at Kathwood Baptist Church some tome ago didn’t appear to have a building included.
Thank you for your interest in the Forest Acres Park. The final approved Master Plan includes a large open-air pavilion, two restroom buildings (one at each end of the park), a performance stage along with a multi-use pavilion that is partially enclosed & partially open-air. the multi-use pavilion provides a flexible space that can serve many different functions such as senior activities and games.
