DOKO MEADOWS
The Town of Blythewood selected TLPGS to prepare a park Master Plan for the 25 acres surrounding the historic Town Hall. Park amenities included in the Master Plan are an entry boulevard with signage and plantings that culminates with a spray-ground water feature framed by a radial pergola and clock tower. Behind the pergola is a play-ground area with small picnic pavilions. Other amenities include a new Depot building, farmers’ market pavilion, a 2000-seat lawn amphitheater, a lake area with dock, a soccer/multipurpose recreation field with a nature trail, and community center building; all with associated parking. The lake area also acts as a detention pond for the site.
